Neuens Road in northwest Houston

DW Companies receives qualifying waste at 9461 Neuens Road, Houston, TX 77080. Call 713-465-7231 to discuss the material, vehicle and receiving arrangements.

Use the location and receiving directions together when planning the trip. Give the driver the agreed arrival information and instructions for the vehicle. The Neuens Road page brings together the address, contact and load-preparation details for your driver.

For projects in northwest Houston, compare the whole trip: loading time, road access for the equipment, receiving arrangements and the return to work. Avoid choosing a receiving yard solely from a straight-line map measurement. Check the material and vehicle against the selected yard’s receiving instructions.

Holmes Road in south Houston

Tannahill Transfer Station is at 1800 Holmes Road, Houston, TX 77045. Call 713-657-0004 for qualifying mixed-C&D receiving questions. Published hours are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., and closed Sunday.

Wood, drywall and other qualifying building materials need a clear load description. Tannahill excludes dirt and roofing shingles, and the shared facility’s concrete/asphalt receiving operation is separate. For concrete and asphalt requests, Houston Crushed Concrete’s published number is 713-799-2000.

The Holmes Road location guide explains those receiving paths and the published preparation rules, including personal protective equipment. Give your driver the actual operation and contact rather than only the street address.

Compare the full haul

The closer yard is not automatically the better plan for an unsuitable load. First establish the material stream and receiving path, then compare practical travel and project constraints. The vehicle, load containment and unloading method belong in that decision along with the location.

For repeated trips, make the plan around the phases of work. A demolition contractor might produce a mixed-debris load first and separated heavy material later. Each stream can require a different receiving discussion. Keep the driver’s instructions and the project’s quote details together so the next trip does not rely on someone remembering an earlier call.

If the project cannot spare a truck and driver, compare commercial dumpster rental with bringing the waste yourself. A container adds placement and collection requirements, while self-haul uses your own transport capacity. Neither method changes the need to describe the waste accurately.

Give your driver a clear arrival plan

Before the truck leaves, identify the receiving operation, contact number, load contents and quantity estimate. Add the agreed arrival information and any instructions for the vehicle or unloading arrangement. Keep unusual or excluded materials out of the load rather than planning to sort them at the destination.

At the facility, check in and follow staff directions. Do not unload just because another vehicle is doing so. For the project office, retain the quote and the information available for the actual transaction. If your contract requires particular records, raise that need before choosing the receiving path.

Use the drop-off checklist and record-planning guide, then describe your load to start the receiving discussion.

Answered Questions

Where can I bring construction debris in Houston?

The receiving locations are DW Companies at 9461 Neuens Road in northwest Houston and Tannahill Transfer Station at 1800 Holmes Road in south Houston. Choose the appropriate operation for the material, then arrange the arrival details.

Do both locations have the same receiving rules and hours?

No. Use facility-specific receiving instructions. Holmes Road has published Tannahill hours and material rules; do not apply those automatically to Neuens Road or to the separate concrete/asphalt operation.
